Unique knowledge base
The ESG's stock in trade is its deep knowledge of the equipment and software environments used by naval ships. Our engineers and technicians provide maintenance management, equipment assessments and onboard technical support for the maintenance and modernization of all critical HM&E systems and equipment. We have support personnel strategically located in close proximity to key U.S. Navy facilities to ensure that we can meet our customers’ needs.

The ESG team is an expert partner with U.S. and foreign navies to ensure that equipment and systems perform to design specifications. The team’s broad base of knowledge in the HM&E environment and our wide expertise in software engineering provides Navy teams with qualified assessments of conditions, optimized strategies and tactics for maintaining and upgrading material condition, and expert support over the life cycle of the equipment and related systems.

ESG’s Expertise

Our SMEs support the fleet’s propulsion systems, machinery control systems, damage control systems, auxiliary systems and bridge/navigation systems. A U.S. Navy ship is typically designed to operate for a 40 year life cycle, beginning with the ship construction/acquisition phase, through a mid-life modernization phase, and then a continued in-service engineering support phase.
