Life Cycle Institute Launches New Online Course on Leading Organizational Change
CHARLESTON, SC, - November 16, 2009 - The Life Cycle Institute is now accepting registrations for its latest online training course, Leading Organizational Change: The Important Stuff. The course is the third to be delivered by the newly developed e-Institute.
Change management is frequently described by catchy phrases like “the soft stuff is the hard stuff,” but human resistance to change is a powerful force that can surface during a low impact or high impact change.
“Change management is important for individuals at all levels of an organization,” explains Bill Wilder, Director of the Life Cycle Institute. “This course will help participants move change management from an abstract notion to a real-world practice. They will gain the understanding necessary to influence people and change behavior.”
After completing this two-hour learning experience, participants will be able to define the critical elements of change management, common change management risks and how to mitigate those risks, the critical roles in a well managed change, and how to effectively determine the size and scope of a planned change.
