    The Electronics Technician will support propulsion and power systems aboard U.S. Navy ships. Job duties will include fabrication, electrical wiring, troubleshooting and repair of electrical components and systems.  The candidate must be capable of working from drawings, sketches and schematics, as well as taking direction from project engineers to perform assigned tasks and researching parts/components using vendor catalogs and/or the internet.

     

    An ideal candidate will have 5-7 years electrical shipboard experience in power generation/distribution, EMI/Electronic systems design and troubleshooting experience. Previous Navy shipboard testing/troubleshooting is highly preferred and this position may require up to 25% travel as needed.

  • Electrical Engineer - 080709^ Top

    The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) lab testing, test procedure and report development, as well as electronic systems design and troubleshooting. Typical daily duties will include design and troubleshooting electronic circuitry, execution of military standard testing, developing technical test procedures and reports, witness/supervise EMI testing, risk management and analysis and review of OEM furnished test procedures and reports.

     

    An ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, experience with EMI/Electronic systems design and troubleshooting, writing EMI Test procedures and previous Navy shipboard testing/troubleshooting is highly preferred.     The Logistician Analyst will provide ILS support to NSWCCD-SSES for HM&E equipment, reporting directly to the Acquisition Logistics Program Manager. The candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

     

    The selected individual will identify facets of ILS (i.e. Tech Manual, Obsolescence, PMS, Configuration Support, Training) for PEO Ships equipment. The Analyst must possess the ability to interrogate DOD and other databases, and provide detailed analysis based on varying parameters including customer requirements.

     

    An ideal candidate will have five years experience as a Logistics Manager, preferably with DAWIA Level 2 or 3 Certification, military systems repair/maintenance, storekeeper/supply duties/DOD inventory management, and data analysis tools/forms.

    An ideal candidate for this position will have five - ten years of hands-on experience with commercial and/or Navy mil-spec circuit breakers Additional areas of knowledge/expertise include vacuum breaker technology, commercial circuit breaker specifications (UL, IEC, ANSI), and associated testing requirements.  Any experience with Cutler-Hammer Circuit Breakers or familiarity with the Material Requirements Planning System would be beneficial in this role helpful.  This position may require up to 10% travel as needed.
