Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Teaming and Technical Support
As a small business, LCE, through the Pittsburgh, PA office has prepared and submitted a number of SBIR proposals and is providing technical support for others.
We are actively and continuously reviewing SBIR and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) from all government agencies for potential opportunities.
We are especially focused on alternative energy technologies and will gladly meet with anyone interested in turning energy-related ideas into SBIR/STTR proposals.
As appropriate, we’ll lead efforts as the Principal Investigator, for which we’ll be looking for teaming opportunities with other small or large businesses or research institutions, or will provide technical support as subcontractors or consultants under proposals led by other small businesses in the following areas of expertise:
- Materials Selection and Evaluation
- Mechanical Design
- Electrical Systems and Controls
- Finite Element Stress Analysis (FEA)
- Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics Analysis
- Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analysis
- Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)
