Three LCE Experts to Address Change Management Topics at SMRP Conference
CHARLESTON, SC - September 24, 2013 - Three of Life Cycle Engineering's subject matter experts will share their expertise at the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals’ (SMRP) annual conference.
Bill Wilder, Director of the Life Cycle Institute, and Ron Leonard, Principal for Life Cycle Engineering, will present a pre-conference workshop entitled, “Changing Behavior to Produce Results: How to Mobilize and Motivate the People". In this workshop participants will create artifacts for a real-life change. They will participate in table group exercises, role plays and active listening exercises and will receive practical advice and tools for executing change management activities. The half-day workshop will take place on Monday, October 14th from 1pm-5pm.
Bruce Wesner, Managing Principal for Life Cycle Engineering, will also present a session at the conference, “Solutions for Higher Turnover and the New Workforce". Wesner’s presentation will help managers address solutions to standardize operating procedures and maintenance processes. It will include change management strategies for transferring knowledge and data in order to create an operating culture better designed to thrive during higher turnover. The session will take place on Tuesday, October 15th from 2:45-3:45pm.
SMRP’s annual conference is a premier maintenance and reliability event in North America. The three-day conference includes renowned keynote speakers, 19 workshops, 50+ track sessions, and six plant tours.
The conference will take place October 14th-16th in Indianapolis, IN. Life Cycle Engineering will have a presence in the exhibit hall at Booth #704.
