Life Cycle Engineering to Lead Three Sessions at the International Maintenance Conference (IMC) 2017

Bill Wilder, Founder and Director of the Life Cycle Institute, will present a 45-minute session titled “Executive Sponsorship: The #1 Reason Why Change Initiatives Fail” that will focus on the meaning and role of the executive sponsor during a major organizational change initiative. Wilder will be presenting on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 10:00 AM (EST).

Tara Holwegner, LCE’s Learning and Subject Matter Expert, will present “Using 3A Learning® to Drive Competency and Business Results from eLearning” that will enable participants to learn how organizations are building competency with 3A Learning as well as how to use a learning impact map to analyze a reliability effort, identify needed competencies, and align them to an organization-level goal. Holwegner will also discuss how eLearning can support a hands-on profession like maintenance and reliability that will include guidelines for selecting quality eLearning programs. This session will be presented on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM (EST).

To conclude our conference presentations, Jesse Rothkopf, an LCE Managing Principal, will co-present “The Intersection of Obsolescence Management and Asset Management Reliability” alongside John Gariti, Deputy General Manager of Reliability Centered Maintenance, Long Island Rail Road. Rothkopf and Gariti will discuss how public transportation organizations are managing the issue of having capital assets with life cycles of 40 years or more yet many of the critical components of those assets are becoming obsolete within the first five years. This presentation will take place on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 1:00 PM (EST).
