Life Cycle Engineering Awarded $42.4 Million, Five-Year SeaPort-NxG Contract by NSWCPD to Support U.S. Navy Fleet Diesel Engine Readiness

This contract underscores LCE’s long-standing commitment to improving the operational readiness and long-term sustainability of navy diesel engines. LCE will provide an integrated suite of engineering, program management, and technical/training services, all focused on strengthening the performance and reliability of the Navy’s critical diesel propulsion and electrical generation systems.

The overarching mission of this contract is to measurably improve the operational availability and reliability of Main Propulsion Diesel Engines (MPDEs), Ship Service Diesel Generators (SSDGs) and Emergency Diesel Generators (EDGs) while reducing the total operating and maintenance costs of U.S. Navy vessels.
