What We Do

Specializing in mechanical, electrical, diesel, structural, and system engineering for Navy missions

Supporting mission readiness through technology, R&D, ship design, modernization and continued in-service engineering support over the life of the ship

Our engineers provide design, development, integration, management, and maintenance of complex Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems throughout their life cycle. We bring critical skills in electrical, structural, mechanical, software, human factor, systems security, and architectural engineering to assist our customers in creating innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

LCE supports the Fleet’s propulsion systems, power systems, machinery control systems, damage control systems, auxiliary systems and bridge/navigation and steering control systems.

Increasing Fleet availability and mission effectiveness through integrated logistics support

By leveraging an integrated DMSMS, Technical Referral/DLA 339/ESRS, and ILS Certification organization, Fleet issues can be addressed quickly and efficiently to resolve HM&E, Weapons and Sensor, and COTS systems/parts obsolescence, casualties, and form-fit-function replacements.

LCE ensures the necessary information is available to the Fleet to support critical maintenance and overhaul periods through our ILS Certification efforts. Our unique Configuration Variance Reduction capabilities define systems and components that provide the lowest cost and highest reliability items to enhance the affordability and availability of ship systems.
