Cyber & IT Workforce Development
Continuous IT and cybersecurity training and workforce development is critical given increasing threats to our information and systems. Whether a cyber range training environment, or hands-on learning, Life Cycle Engineering has the solution to accelerate workforce development.

What We Do
Developing a future workforce capable of maintaining the DoD’s technological superiority.
As the threats of the future become more complex, we implement innovative and cutting edge ways to develop a future workforce capable of maintaining the DoD’s technological superiority.
Preparing our warfighters with the skills to succeed in an IT career before they transition into the civilian workforce
Since 2018, LCE has partnered with the DoD SkillBridge program, which allows service members to gain civilian work experience through specific industry internships prior to release from Active Duty. Our SkillBridge internship is a self-paced, mentor driven program. Participants go through an established curriculum to learn and apply DoD relevant technologies with the assistance of specialized mentors.
We focus on the implementation of DoD security best practices for virtualization/Cloud, networking, Linux/Windows, databases, secure coding, and testing. The program also requires interns to implement DoD security controls following the NIST SP 800 series. Our internship prepares participants to get a Security+, and many also obtain other advanced certifications.
LCE is registered on DoD SkillBridge for the Navy, Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.

Developing the future cybersecurity and information technology workforce
LCE understands the critical need for skilled cybersecurity professionals across industry and the DoD in a time where the demand for cybersecurity talent far exceeds the amount of available talent. To combat this challenge, we developed an immersive cybersecurity internship program that allows for hands-on learning and constant mentoring from current DoD cybersecurity experts.
Rather than just reading and learning about concepts, interns must set up and establish their own virtual infrastructure, deploy virtual machines, install and configure operating systems, install and secure applications, and thoroughly test everything.
This innovative, hands-on program produces relevant professionals with the skills and certifications required to fill DoD cybersecurity positions in just ten weeks. Reach out to us if you would like to train professionals through this program.

With increasing threats to our information and systems, continual hands-on training is essential
As more information is stored and exchanged online, it is increasingly tempting for predators to break through security settings in order to gain access to private information.
Hack Warz® is a cyber range training environment that mimics real world vulnerabilities, flaws, and misconfigurations, and allows participants to practice their offensive cybersecurity skills in a safe, controlled manner.
This LCE branded event can be customized to mimic your environment, and can be adapted to any skill level – from students in a STEM program to seasoned DoD cybersecurity experts. Contact us to get a demo or to schedule your event.
