Charleston, SC — 09/09/2025 — Life Cycle Engineering, Inc. (LCE), a leader in IT services, cybersecurity solutions, and workforce development, is proud to announce it has been awarded an Advanced Technology International (ATI) Foundation Grant for Cybersecurity Workforce Development. This award supports LCE’s mission to expand training, mentorship, and career opportunities for the next generation of IT and cybersecurity professionals.

The ATI Foundation grant will allow LCE to expand, enhance, and continuously improve current internship and mentorship programs. The programs use state-of-the-art training platforms, providing hands-on learning experiences and increased preparation for industry-recognized certifications. These initiatives are designed to close the IT and cybersecurity skills gap and prepare participants for high-demand roles in both government and private-sector organizations.

“Cybersecurity is one of the fastest-growing and most critical fields in today’s digital world,” said Michael Hoyt, Vice President of Enterprise IT Solutions. “This grant will enable us to scale our programs, train more interns, and provide real-world mentorship opportunities to help build a skilled and diverse workforce.”

LCE has a proven track record of upskilling over 100 interns in the IT and cybersecurity field in the past decade alone, which has resulted in a direct impact across the Defense Industrial Base.
